We support the community and sports enthusiasts from our own ranks
Our colleagues have a lot to offer, both at work and outside of it. That is why, as part of our Employee Sponsorship project, we have supported both the tough team sport of soccer and the graceful discipline of figure skating.
This year, financial support went to two of our colleagues—Lukáš Cenigr and Petra Myslivečková.
Renovation of changing rooms at the Traverza Rostoklaty club
Lukáš Cenigr works at TAWESCO AUTOMOTIVE as a supplier quality specialist. In his free time, he plays amateur football, which he was introduced to by his father. The impetus was a specific match for which there were not enough players. "My dad asked me if I wanted to go and play with him. I went, and I've been there for ten years," recalls Lukáš.
Traverza operates as an amateur club with a strong community spirit. Players spend time together not only on the pitch, but also off it. They organize training camps, travel to tournaments, participate in marches, and meet regularly after matches. They see the team as a place where friendships and experiences are formed that go beyond the usual sporting framework. Thanks to a contribution from TAWESCA AUTOMOTIVE, the club's facilities will undergo a renovation of the changing rooms used by players and young people.
Ice rink rental for individual training
Petra Myslivečková requested a sponsorship contribution for her daughter Zuzka. Twelve-year-old Zuzka has been figure skating since she was seven. Since September, she has been competing in the junior category and participating in Czech Cup competitions. Financial support from TAWESCA was used to pay for ice rink time for individual training sessions before the Náchod Grand Prix competition.
Figure skating is demanding not only physically, but also in terms of time and money. Regular training sessions, trips, choreography, and costumes represent considerable expenses, which the family covers on an ongoing basis. That is why Petra welcomes the opportunity to apply for corporate sponsorship as an important source of assistance. Financial support from TAWESCA AUTOMOTIVE was used to pay for ice time for individual training sessions before the Velká cena Náchoda competition.
"Zuzka is an active person. In addition to skating, she also enjoys ballet and gymnastics. She enjoys competitions, performances, new choreography, beautiful dresses, and the atmosphere of competitions. But most of all, she enjoys the movement itself. The joy she gets from it is the main motivation not only for her, but also for the whole family," says Petra Myslivečková, who works as a financial controller at TAWESCO AUTOMOTIVE.
